What to look out for before getting semi-permanent makeup? Pigment colour and quality

Pigments are implanted under your skin. Another, more everyday word for them is colour, which is used to apply semi-permanent makeup – tattooing. There are SPECIAL pigments made ONLY for permanent makeup. All of them are temporary and hypoallergenic (completely harmless). That is, after a certain period of time, these pigments are removed from the body by your own lymphatic system. Only such pigments, certified by the EOF (the Greek National Organisation for Medicines), are used by a true professional. They are not cheap. Pigments must be of high quality and come from reputable manufacturers. Beware of non-European, Asian companies (selling at one euro per litre) presented as European, whose pigment after a short while looks like an old, faded tattoo. You will often have noticed blue-green eyebrows, purple lips or eyeliner that looks like bruises…

Also be careful if you are offered semi-permanent makeup that lasts for life, that is, a classic tattoo on the face. This is not acceptable! The pigment will never look natural and beautiful under the skin for a long time; that is impossible! The specialist will recommend the shade according to your features. Know that we never use black in semi-permanent eyebrows; it is forbidden. There are many shades of brown (from the darkest to the lightest), and we also mix to create the ideal shade for you. Semi-permanent makeup should fade over time, so that when the client wants to, they can refresh it, or, if the client no longer wants to renew the semi-permanent makeup, it can fade with time and eventually disappear completely. Pigments must come from certified European companies.
