Getting semi-permanent eyebrows: how do I choose a colour that suits my features?

Eyebrow shape trends are constantly changing. For your eyebrows to look beautiful and well groomed, you first need to choose the colour that suits you. For blond hair, the colour of an eyebrow tattoo should be sought in the grey range. Shades of brown look harmonious on brunettes, and redheads are advised to use a colour slightly darker than their natural hair shade.

How do I choose the right pencil or pigment colour for semi-permanent makeup?

First of all, the specialist will discuss it with you and suggest a colour according to your features.
Natural looks are in fashion today. To make your face look attractive, follow these simple rules when choosing a colour combination:
For blondes, the eyebrows should be one tone darker than the hair.
For brunettes, one tone lighter than the hair.
The wider the eyebrow, the lighter the colour should be, so that it does not look harsh.

For those with grey, blue or green eyes, a cool, grey-based colour will be suitable. For women with brown and dark blue eyes, it is preferable to choose shades of brown (warm colours). Black is not suitable for semi-permanent eyebrow makeup. It makes the face look more aggressive.
For blondes, light chestnut shades (warm) are suitable; for blondes with an ash-blond hair colour, a light cool brown. For redheads, depending on how intense the hair colour is, the tattoo (semi-permanent makeup) is done in a range from light brown to red-brown. To emphasise the expressiveness of the eyes, the eyebrow tone should be darker than the hair.

It is recommended that you:

If you decide to change your hair colour, for example: you were a brunette and decided to lighten your hair, it is recommended that you also lighten your eyebrow colour, and the same applies in reverse for darker colours.

Women over 40 are advised to choose a light pencil colour when they do their makeup, and the same for semi-permanent makeup. After 60, you should avoid striking, strong contrasts between hair colour and eyebrow colour. Natural eyebrows emphasise natural beauty and look harmonious!
An experienced specialist will take your features into account and suggest a suitable colour that will match your hair and skin colour.

If the colour is not chosen correctly, your eyebrows can add years to your face.
After the first application of semi-permanent makeup, a second application must be done one month later, to complete the procedure. At the touch-up we can change the colour slightly, for example make it darker, or, if it is too pale or bright after healing, the specialist will correct the problem using various methods. An undesired tint can be caused by lapses in aftercare during the first days. To achieve the expected result, you must follow these steps:
For the first eight days, avoid contact with water, apply the special cream recommended by the specialist, and do not pick off the scab. Also, for the first ten days, you must not visit the sauna, the bath or the pool, nor be in the sun or go to a solarium.
